FURTHER ARRESTS | NORTON CANES

We have made further arrests following disorder in Norton Canes yesterday (Tuesday 20 October).

Officers were called to School Road at 3.40pm following a report that a man was in possession of a rifle. Shortly after, we received another report that two men had been assaulted on the same road.

After carrying out enquiries at the scene, we now understand a fight had taken place in the area between a small group of people following an argument.

Armed officers went to the scene and seized an air rifle from inside a home on the road.

Three people have since been arrested and remain in custody today (Wednesday 21 October).
